WHAT IS THE e-TECH TEXT BOOK PICKUP PROGRAM?
e-Tech’s Text Book Pickup Program is designed to go to schools and remove those unused and unwanted books that schools accumulate, and find them a new home.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
e-Tech will schedule a time to send a Team Member to your school to pick up all the books you need to find a home for. Team Members will come to you, pack them up and haul them away to begin the process of finding those books and materials a new home. There is no cost to you.
WHAT TYPE OF BOOKS TO WE PICKUP?
e-Tech will accept most any type of book, condition, or number you have, including supplement materials.
WHAT IS DONE WITH THE BOOKS?
Three things can happen with your books:
- 1. Part of the books are sold to help cover the costs of e-Tech.
In order to cover expenses of doing business, e-Tech sells a number of the books on Amazon, eBay, Home School Classifieds and the e-Tech Online Book Store.
- 2. Select books will be consigned and sold.
After e-Tech picks the books up, a Team member will evaluate the values of the books. Any books that will retail for over $20 will be consigned for e-Tech to sell for the school. The school will receive 60% after any fees and shipping for any book sold.
- 3. Over 50% of the books are sent to mission groups internationally.
e-Tech will send books to any international mission group that requests them and meets our placement requirements. All interested groups or organizations should contact Jim Young at (855) 680-0858 or email@example.com.
e-Tech will consign any books back they pick up that a value of $25 or better on Amazon. This means e-Tech will give the school 50% (after fees) of the sale of any books consigned.
